Il team FireCore ha da poco rilasciato una nuova versione di Seas0nPass, un nuovo tool in grado di eseguire il jailbreak della Apple TV 2 con firmware 4.3 Eccovi una guida dettagliata per eseguire lo sblocco.
Attenzione:
Questo metodo di jailbreak è tethered per le Apple TV con firmware 4.1.1 e 4.2.1. Anche se la procedura è molto semplice, come al solito sconsigliamo agli utenti meno esperti di seguire la guida. Il Jailbreak è una procedura di sblocco che va a modificare alcuni files di sistema essenziali ad iOS: l’esecuzione del processo sarà a vostro rischio e pericolo. Vi consiglio inoltre di salvare il vostro SHSH nel caso in cui vogliate fare un downgrade del firmware.

- Aggiunto il supporto ai bundle standard PT
- Ora supporta l’iOS 4.1 e il 4.2.1
- Aggiunta l’opzione per il Boot in modalità tethered
- Aggiunta l’opzione per salvare il certificato SHSH sul server di Cydia
- Migliorato lo script di ripristino tramite iTunes
Requisiti:
- iTunes aggiornato alla più recente versione disponibile;
- Seas0nPass, disponibile solo per Mac OS QUI;
- un cavo MicroUSB.
Procedimento:
1. Scaricate Seas0nPass e decomprimetelo in una cartella:
2. Nel caso in cui la vostra Apple TV non sia sbloccata, selezionare ‘Create IPSW‘(se il vostro dispositivo è già stato sbloccato, vi servirà semplicemente eseguire un boot tethered):
3. Seas0nPass scaricherà automaticamente l’ultima versione del firmware per AppleTV e creerà il custom firmware:
4. Una volta comparso il messaggio, collegate la vostra AppleTV utilizzando il cavo MircoUSB (il dispositivo non deve essere collegato alla presa della corrente) e premete contemporaneamente i tasti MENU e PLAY/PAUSE per 7 secondi:
5. A questo punto iTunes si avvierà automaticamente ed inizierà il processo di ripristino, con il quale verrà installato il custom firmware jailbroken:
6. La vostra Apple TV è ora sbloccata. Nel caso in cui su questa abbiate il firmware 4.1.1 o 4.2.1, sarà necessario eseguire un avvio tethered. Si ringrazia Ispazio, per la gentile concessione !
